I was trying to capture the unique shapes of water in this photo. What strikes me the most about this image is the piercing blue and white contrast of the water, and how it almost looks like ice.
I took this photo of my unsuspecting brother while he was crying, and I think that the dramatic lighting on his face, showcasing the tear, adds a strong emotional element.
This was taken in the garden of Princeton University. I like the depth of field in this image, which caused the bokeh of other plants in the background. This flower really stood out to me because of its pattern of leaves, orange center, and faded tips.
This is one of the hardest images I've ever shot. After getting all of the camera settings ready for nighttime shooting, I waited for the perfect moment. Finally, the moon appeared in a break in the clouds, with this orange and blue iridescence.
This is one of the many shots I took of this newly born goat. This one stood out to me because it had a unique element, the milk on the goat's nose. I also liked this because of the position and expression of the goat's face.
